Celebrating Dads with Delicious Meals & Local Ingredients

Father's Day Recipes

Father’s Day is fast-approaching, and what better way to honor the Hawaiian-shirt wearing men in our families than by gathering in the backyard for everyone’s favorite summer pastime: GRILLING.

Head to your local grocer for your propane refill (or grab some charcoal if you’re old school), fire up the barbecue, and toss your favorite cuts of protein on those cast iron grates. Give dad a treat he deserves (and don’t let him takeover grilling duties, as much as he might want to). No dish is complete without a few sides, so here are some of our favorites:

Get Grill-Ready with Your Local Grocer

From fresh produce to premium cuts of meat, your local grocer has everything you need to make Dad’s day delicious. Plus, with digital coupons from your favorite brands on AppCard, you can score sweet deals and earn rewards on all your grill essentials. Think of it as a Father’s Day gift that keeps on giving.

Fire Up the Grill

Once you’ve stocked up on supplies, it’s time to break out the barbecue skills you inherited from your barbecue sensei (aka Dad). Don your aprons, grab your tongs, and tell Dad it’s his turn to watch and learn.

Cheers to Dad

As you gather around the grill with family and friends, take a moment to raise a glass to Dad and all he does. Share stories, make memories, and show him just how much he means to everyone.

Gifts Straight from the Heart

And finally, when the grill has cooled and the plates have been cleared, it’s time to shower Dad with love and appreciation. Whether it’s a handmade card or a big bear hug, the best gifts are often the simplest ones.

So here’s to Dad—the grill master, the ultimate jokester, and the only one who can pull off jean shorts with white crew socks. May these tips help make your Father’s Day grill-iant (we couldn’t help including a dad-joke…it’s Father’s Day after all).
